Prior to its acquisition by Nest, Dropcam was the industry leader in Wi-Fi home video monitoring. Character was tasked with repositioning and rebranding Dropcam and extending the new visual system across all key consumer touch points, including product packaging, in-store retail fixtures and promotional materials. Accompanying a product line overhaul the following year, we completely redesigned their website to highlight the rich product experience and easy setup. Several features we built for the Dropcam site actually made the transition to Nest, and can still be found today.
